Photos of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Leak Before Mobile World Congress Launch

Before weeks of unveiling the Galaxy 7 and the S7 Edge, photos of its features are currently circled around the internet.

Samsung's rumored next flagship model is scheduled to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in a few weeks. However, actual photos of the newest version already leaked online, according to The Verge.

Evan Blass of VentureBeat previously described the phone as similar to the Galaxy S6 line even if the photos are only from press renders. However, the actual photos gave speculators a new boost as it features a black color with curved glass back design.

The over-all design did not fail the expectations of the fans as it was able to fulfill to what they have envision. Rumor has it that the S7 will boast a better battery life due to its larger pack and is now made water-resistant. It will also bring back the MicroSD card slot.

In an article by GSM Arena, S7 will offer super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It will run on Android OS V6.0 Marshmallow and will work on Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820/ Exynos 8890 Octa.

It will also feature a 4GB RAM and will come in three different internal memory capacity: 32 GB, 64GB and 128 GB. Other features include accelerometer, heart rate, Irish scanner, compass, fingerprint and more.

As for the S7 Edge, it is rumored to have four modes of operation: Edge Immersive, Edge Single Mode, Edge Feeds and Edge Singe Plus mode. The Edge Single mode and the Edge Single Plus mode are designed for apps that are specifically compatible with Edge display, according to Androidpit.

The Single Plus mode highlights the Edge display with its two-swipe features, which easily gives access to Quick Control, Quick View and Quick Access.

The leaked photos are reportedly posted by a Weibo user. The Galaxy S7 is scheduled to be released on Feb. 21 during the World Mobile Congress.
