SOUTH KOREA - During the long break/celebration of Lunar New Year, 70 percent of the total South Korean population travels to different places as their hometown visiting ritual. And those who go to the southern parts of the country take longer rides before they get to their destinations.

However, long rides could make travelers bored that's why they get relief whenever they make stopovers at service areas station along the expressways. Apparently, South Korea has made layovers tastier and more appealing as it presents best-selling local food to indicate every expressway's stopover.

Korea Expressway Corporation, a government-run organization dealing with road and traffic management, conducted a survey on 35,000 respondents composed of consumers, culinary experts and hotel chefs to get their "Top 10 Expressway Food" in 176 service areas coming from 28 routes across the country.
