The Vice President of Argentina, Gabriela Michetti visited South Korea for three days. Michetti was invited and hosted by South Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn and both parties made plans to co-work in many areas.

According to reports, South Korea and Argentina will cooperate more closely in trade and private company investments. This is valuable notably because Argentina has abundant natural resources including cooper and lithium.

Michetti also promised additional support for South Korean companies to work with South American companies and explore lithium ore.

"I hope that South Korea-Argentina relations would develop in many ways through this visit," Hwang said during a  meeting with Michetti in Seoul.
