LG has something big in store for fans at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. Aside from unveiling its G6 flagship device, the company is set to demonstrate the power of the new X-Power 2.

The X-Power 2 is being touted as a worthy successor to the X Power handset. The new device will reportedly come packing a high-performing, non-removable 4,500mAh battery. A big leap from the 4,100mAh battery of the original.

The South Korean powerhouse teased that the X-Power 2 can "operate for an entire weekend without charging." What's more, users can either play videos for 15 hours straight, get navigational directions for 14 hours or surf the web for 18 hours on just a single charge of this amazing phone.

The X-Power 2 also boasts of fast charging capabilities, allowing the battery to be completely charged in just 2 hours. These are amazing claims indeed, and users are no doubt excited to test if there's truth to it.

The device is quite hefty at 5.5-inches. Its size apparently hides hardware that can be thought as high end, at least as mid-range specs go. The X Power's heir officially comes in at 6.09 x 3.07 x 0.33 inches and 5.78 ounces. It has a 1.5 GHz eight-core processor, either 1.5GB or 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 2TB.

The X-Power 2 will come with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both will have LED flashes. The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and will also feature LTE connectivity. Consumers are also spoiled for choice when it comes to color variants as the handset will come in black, blue, gold and titanium.

There's no word yet on the X Power 2's price tag but consumers can expect it to hit stores by March. However, it will first land in Latin American markets first before rolling out in the US, Europe, and Asia.
